The UCLA School of Dentistry is committed to providing a welcoming, supportive environment for students, trainees, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds and ethnicities. Fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion is central to their core values and integral to achieving excellence in their education, patient care, research, and service endeavors. 

The School of Dentistry also recognizes the need for a diverse dental workforce in addressing the oral health disparities affecting our communities. Through mentoring and recruitment efforts such as the UCLA Dental Post-Baccalaureate and the Summer Health Professions Education Programs, the School of Dentistry seeks to enrich the diversity of their own student classes and the national dental school pipeline to meet this need.
