Grant Writing Bootcamp
Co-sponsored with the DGSOM Office of Physician Scientist Career Development
This bootcamp is targeted for physician scientist faculty who plan to submit an NIH K or R grant. We will provide step-by-step, hands-on grant writing support through a series of bimonthly in-person meetings to give real-time interactive feedback while the faculty member prepares their K or R application, culminating in an NIH grant submission. Contact CTSIWD@mednet.ucla.edu for information about open enrollment periods.

K Scholars Society
This program supports the career development of junior investigators building careers in clinical and translational research. This program is designed for scholars within the UCLA CTSI partner institutions who have current career developments awards from the National Institutes of Health (e.g. K01, K08, K23, K99/R00), or equivalent awards from other federal (e.g. DOD, VA) and non-federal (e.g. AHA, ACS, Doris Duke) funding agencies.

NIH K Kiosk
The NIH K Kiosk provides information and resources about career development awards available to young investigators. In addition to a list of open opportunities, the K Kiosk includes a “K Award Wizard” to help investigators choose the right opportunity, data on funded awards, and podcasts offering advice on career development.
