The UCLA CTSI provides support to investigators applying for EDI-focused funding opportunities and those that enhance diversity in research, provide independent research opportunities to traditionally underrepresented researchers, and more. We endeavor to co-create a streamlined pathway for early career researchers from diverse backgrounds to connect with Senior PIs, faculty, funding opportunity announcements, and other resources.

The UCLA CTSI has developed resources including examples of successfully-funded supplements through the Successful Grants Library and provides support for applications through the Grants Submission Unit.

This also includes support for Diversity Supplements and various funding opportunities offered periodically through the NIH and other agencies. For grants submission support, contact the CTSI Grants Submission Unit (GSU) at GSU@mednet.ucla.edu.
