The CTSI extends its congratulations to Dr. Kymora Scotland, an assistant professor of urology, on her Urology Care Foundation Humanitarian Grant to provide urologic screening events in South Los Angeles.
In addition, the 2022 CTSI KL2 Scholar was awarded an NIDDK K08 (career development award) on August 1, 2023. Her research project will explore the role of bacteria in the growth of calcium-based kidney stones and kidney stone disease.
