Fast Funding for COVID-19 Science

Fast Grants is for scientists at academic institutions currently working on a COVID-19 related project and in need of funding. Fast Grants invites researchers to apply for $10k to $500k in funding. Decisions are made in under 14 days. If Fast Grants approves the grant, researchers will receive payment as quickly as researchers' home institutions can receive it.
Fast Grants funders have committed over $40M to funding Fast Grant awardees. Thanks to the generosity of a number of donors, including the Audacious Project, Fast Grants is now soliciting applications for their second round of funding. Fast Grants expects to make at least $20 million of grants.
For the second round of Fast Grants, decisions will be made within 14 days of application submission. Fast Grants will close application submission as soon as they receive sufficient high-quality applications where they are confident their funds can be well-spent.
In making grant selections, Fast Grants will prioritize work that is already underway but lacking in funding, and research that is likely to yield impact within 2020.
