ACTS Team Science Award Goes to CPIC and Witness 4 Wellness

The Community Partners in Care (CPIC) Steering Council and its predecessor, the Witness 4 Wellness Council, have been awarded the 2014 Team Science Award by the Association for Clinical and Translational Science in recognition of the team's success in the translation of research discoveries into clinical applications and eventual widespread clinical practice.  Dr. Bowen Chung, Assistant Professor In-Residence in Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA and investigator in CTSI's Community Engagement and Research Program, will be presenting the results from CPIC at the 2014 Translational Science joint ACTS-AFMR annual meeting to be held in Washington DC on April 9-11, 2014.
