The UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) will be holding an all-day workshop for junior investigators who have applied, are applying, or thinking about applying for a NIH K/Career Development Award. We are offering this special opportunity to junior faculty at the UCLA CTSI partnered institutions (Cedars-Sinai, CDU, LA Biomed Harbor-UCLA, and UCLA) to learn how to prepare successful K applications. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
During the morning session of this K Workshop, presentations will be made by UCLA CTSI Workforce Development Program Leaders. During the afternoon session, the CTSI senior investigators and leaders will review and discuss draft applications submitted by junior faculty and provide feedback on preparing successful K award applications on an individual basis. The workshop will be relevant to anyone who plans to seek a K or career development award. You can also find past workshop materials at http://www.ctsi.ucla.edu/education/pages/edtools.
