FDA Tobacco Regulatory Fellowship

Paid, one-year Tobacco Regulatory Science Fellowships are available at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Opportunities are available in the following areas within the FDA Center for Tobacco Products (CTP): Compliance and Enforcement, Health Communication and Education, Management, Regulations, Policy, and Science.
This is an unique opportunity for mid-career professionals to spend a year with the CTP in Maryland and be a part of CTP's mission to regulate the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products and educate the public, especially young people, about tobacco products and their dangers.

CTP seeks mid-career professionals from a range of disciplines including:

  • Behavioral Science
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Biomedical Science
  • Business Administration
  • Communications/Advertising/Marketing
  • Consumer Education
  • Economics
  • Legal/Law Enforcement
  • Medicine/Nursing
  • Physical Science and Toxicology
  • Political Science
  • Public Health, including Public Health Ethics
  • Public Policy/Public Administration
  • Public Relations/Journalism
  • Social Sciences, such as Sociology, Anthropology, and Psychology
