What is All of Us at University of California, Los Angeles?
Los Angeles, we need your help. Medical research hasn't always seen you. We're changing that. We are working with the All of Us Research Program, from the National Institutes of Health, to help speed up health research.
All of Us is looking for participants at UCLA and surrounding areas. We hope that at least one million people will join. People who join will share information about their health, habits, what it’s like where they live, and if they will want information about their DNA. You don’t need to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to join the All of Us Research Program. We will not ask about your residency or citizenship status. We cannot share your status because we will not know it. By looking for patterns in this information, researchers may learn more about what affects people’s health. Your participation is a legacy for future generations.
How to Join
To register, please visit our website to register. You may also contact the University of California - Los Angeles by calling (310) 206-8292 or via email at AlloofUS@mednet.ucla.edu to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to complete the online registration process, no worries! You can simply continue it in person, whichever method is more convenient for you.
Participating in the program will entitle you to a $25 gift card for one visit to the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition (located in the Rehab Building), at which blood will be drawn and an online home survey will need to be completed. In addition, there will be three informed consents and three surveys covering lifestyle factors as well as general health information upon your in-person visit.
