Office of Investigator Services (OIS)

Welcome to Research Facilitation.

CTSI Research Facilitators provide across-the-board assistance and guidance in research project/grant proposal development. We provide a single point-of-service to CTSI scientists for navigating and accessing the complex array of research support resources and services at the CTSI. Our mission is expert consultation to investigators on all aspects of their projects, from study concept through regulatory approval and oversight, working closely with a broad range of domain experts:

Our Research Facilitators are available for in-person consultation, or by telephone or e-mail. We are ready to offer tips and suggestions to investigators as they proceed with study design, proposal writing, and project implementation. We are prepared to establish an ongoing support relationship with every investigator who seeks our assistance. If we cannot answer a question, we will find the answer and provide a prompt response.

The UCLA CTSI is committed to removing the impediments to clinical and translational research across the partner institutions. There are many CTSI initiatives underway to facilitate the research process. As each new service comes online, description and access routes will be posted here at the OIS page and e-mail announcements of these enhancements will be disseminated throughout the CTSI community.
